Look at Time Updates: Fully-featured editor for your Time Events
A major feature has made it into lookattime. The next time you will open up a time event you will be greeted by the all-new UI design for time event content. The most notable features are:
- Formatting with headlines, bold, italic, etc.
- Images along the text
- Quick toggling of edit and read mode
On top of that, editing and creating time events now happens in-place without a separate modal and you have a real editor at your hands offering all the tools you would expect for text editing. I chose to go with a great editor called Ckeditor5 that is extendable and free.
I have rebuilt a small timeline that I had already built once in the early days of Look at Time which I used to accompany an introductory talk about Virtual Reality. It is a timeline depicting the history of VR. As you will see, it is not complete or particularly well written, but it might give you an idea of how I imagine Look at Time to be used. Here is the link to that timeline, so take a look!
I think Look at Time is starting to approach a level of usefulness we could call a “Beta”. 😃 I hope you’ll get a chance to try it out and build some awesome timelines!
